 Post subject: Fly Tying 2 Jig Tying

I tie all of my saltwater flies so after seeing this thread section, I t was only natural to give it a try. Still need some practice tying onto the jig head.

You're doing all right for just starting on jigs. What kind of tail material is that?

both good colors for lake houston also black with chartreuse tail for houston

MrBrown, one of the fellas on here, SK, posted a youtube video where he discusses how to make a DIY fluid bed for painting jig heads, and how he ties his jigs. He ties 2 of them in the video and he shows pretty well how he starts them and how he finishes them at the head to cinch down the chenille. Really has taught me a lot.
