Product Details

Trim control has never been easier! Install the T-H Marine FingerFlex Dual Trim Switch to your boat, and you'll enjoy easy-cruising blinker-style steering from either side of the steering column. FingerFlex provides Positive Clicking technology for a touch-and-feel experience that lets you know your trim is operating and responsive. FingerFlex installs quickly and easily, the boat steering wheel doesn't even need to be removed. Simply wrap the collar around the bezel, attach and tighten the 2 nuts and bolts. Finally, run the attached wire through the dash, and connect it into the trim system's wiring harness. That's it! The T-H Marine FingerFlex can also be used to operate power jack plates.
Manufacturer model #: FFTB-2-DP.

Based on what i read, can I assume this will not work on older merc's? For example 2000 year.
