no i am not into that type of fishing
but their are a lot of people that do
enjoy that kind of fishing . so i was
just putting the information on here
for some new comers that may not
know that kind of fish exist around
close . They are about as much fun as
fishing white bass but much bigger and
a much stronger fight.

You can catch them trolling drop a marker
on them and cast and crank . swim jigs or cranks
to catch them. target humps in 15 to 25 feet of
surface early morning of evening. white jigs seem to work well'

There's a fresh water fish that no one ever talks about fishn for that fights about better than any fresh water fish I've ever caught and that's that ole Goo, fresh water drum or Gaspergoo.....
I seen one caught yesterday and every fish was named fishing what it was except for the ole Goo....
I don't know how to target them but they do love some crappie jigs.....

If they're in the drum family, they'll have a white flaky meat. I've had red drum and black drum, but never a freshwater drum.

Those hybrids on Conroe will make mess of a spider rig spread in a new York second.

Although it carries the same name the flesh isn't the same as the salty drum species....
Some eat them but they don't fit my taste palette.....
