I want this so bad, but the units I have aren't compatible with it!!

I'd have to buy the transducer, black box, AND a new head unit...

Any unit with 2D can and will show your jig and fish- coming up to the jig....
I'm planning on recording this in action so everybody can see that live scope is only 2D on steroids....
Vid coming soon of my HB 798 performing what everybody is thinking is new....
I've got proof when LBG gets back on, he's seen it on my unit....
It does take a lil tweeking on the settings.....
8)

But can the 2D see the fish and jig 20 feet in front of your boat, or just almost directly under it? Or is that the SKVision add-on that's currently unavailable?

I can see it in my kayak with my 5' pole, but haven't seen it yet with my 11 footers in the jonboat. If I want to see my jig on my 2D finder at the trolling motor, I'd have to sit in the back seat to have my rod tip right by the tm to see it.

Just depends on your ducer set-up....I can see my jig with my 11'ers.....
I don't always do it because of the screen speed but it's easily doable with regular 2D....

my 2d has a jigging mode on it.
with down image you only going to read 1/3 your depth
so in 10 feet your cone is only going to read a 3 1/3 foot circle.

Are you changing your frequency (read: cone angle) to be able to see that SK?

I know mine can range between 8 degrees and 24 degrees based on the frequency I select and whether or not I have CHIRP on. At lower frequencies I should have a much wider cone than at higher frequencies...
