from picture looks like one fish died trying

to eat another fish and it got stuck killing

both fish.

It was 2 largemouth it must have just happened I was going down the bank throwing a crankbait and saw them. I separated fish and the larger one was fine and swam off. The other one didn't make it.

A bass will try to eat anything it can get in it's mouth.
I took a 2# catfish out of a 3# bass' mouth once. The bass couldn't get past the tines on the catfish.
Just shows you how big a bait can be for a bass.
