This one. A bit spendy, but worth it. You definitely want one that will rotate the jig along the hook shaft. I don't rotate to wrap, but I use the rotation a lot, especially when I am tying on the side or on the hook side.

I tried those eyes once and couldn't get them to stay on. Let us know if they do in fact make a difference. I've just about run out of room in my boxes for jigs. I may have to start powder coating the heads just to give me something to do. I have a new pattern that makes the jig look like it is a small swimming frog, with legs kicking when it is jigged. I'll let you know if they improve the catch rate.

YouTube makes anything right at easy.....there are several good vids that take you step by step on tying.....trust me I have a box with several jigs in it that I screwed up when I started & believe me I still add to that box even right now.....
Gotta do it for the love if it to be satisfied with tying fo sho.....

Crazyangler.com or Barlow's.com...they seem to have just about any & everything you'd need for tying or making lures....

Hey Dutch something else that may help your eyes stay on is pilling (make it look like a pill) your jig heads so the eyes have a flat surface to adhere to...
There's a vid I watched a while ago using smooth surface pliers to do it, I'll post a link later if'n I can find it again...
If you look at that black/chart jig by the way it was the 1st jig head I did & applied too much pressure you can see where the flat surface is round the eye....

I have flattened the head on jigs when I tried those eyes before. I just held the head on a piece of smooth metal and tapped it with a hammer.

I need one of my boats up here something terrible...
It's good to have time to tie a few jigs but to not be able to go test'em almost makes it not worth tying'um....
Dutch I might be able to get out this w-end to see if these eyes hold up...
They sure are purdy though.....
