I only give starting colors because like I found on the fish I've been catchn olive has been the best but is hardly ever mentioned and has out produced most ever color that some mention.....
You'll set yourself up for failure thinking only a handful of colors is all you'll need.....
IMO.....

That is true just like anything else these fish have
a variety of things they will eat. All these things have
a variety of colors. earth worms fresh water shrimp.
maggots. hellgermites . millions of different color bugs.
some time you can match the hatch . mayflies , june bugs
dragon flies. each lake will be different according as to what
natural bugs are attracted to that area of land. some parts attract
lots of butterflies others crayfish. love bugs. so there is a lot to
think about so as i say never leave your brains in the closet when
you go fishing. always be changing you have to be versatile to
be a good fisherman.

Very true. AS fishermen we have the habit of using the same baits and spots from the past. In order to be successful, I've found it is good to try new baits and locations.
