2 cousins and I fished with Three Nails crappie guide yesterday on Lake Palestine.
Minnows did the most damage but we did catch 8-10 on soft plastics.
Biggest was 2 lbs.
14-20 FOW fishing brush piles. 10-12 mph winds made it rough to stay on a spot.
Mark, our guide was very knowledgeable and worked hard to get us on the fish.
Reasonable rate and we had a blast fishing with him.
His half day for us was close to 6 hours. We kept 51 and threw back a few short fish and some catfish and gasper goo.
You can check him out on FB at threenailsguide. He also fishes Fork and Murval.

Yes they do. 14-20" is tough to fish with an 8' pole.
Just find bottom and slowly bring it up.
Hit really light too.
Beautiful fish though.
