Went over to Fayette County Saturday and there were so many boats that they shut down both ramps and turned people away. Turns out that there was 3 tournaments on the lake. I didn't get into anything big but caught around 30 pound and half fish. Those little bucks were everywhere. The boat traffic was non stop and had the lake churning. No where on the lake you could go and not be within 30 yards of 10 boats. There were no secret holes that day for sure.
Had a good day catching the fish but the lake was very crowded.
As I was leaving one tournament group was weighing in and it wasn't pretty. Their big bass was 3 pounds. Not a typical Fayette day for sure. That was bigger than any of mine but I did get the numbers just not the size I was looking for.
