Went to West Bay yesterday and had a good day, for me. Can't wait to get on the Lake as soon as Sticko gets well. Has he told you we worked together for about 15 years? Small world.

Nice -- I went to Moses Gate and April fool reef on the 5th also caught a few keeper specs but every cast hit the water for no more then 5 secs and fish was on but everything but the few were 14 to 14 1/2 speck or 16 to 18 1/2 red -- this was for solid 1 1/2 to almost 2 hrs -- it was fun at first but after that long it got aggravating not to mention was getting tired -- have never caught fish like that and only came home with few keepers -- sad part is seen a few on yaks keeping everything they caught at the gate -- sure wish a gw would of gotten them

Did you notice what rig and bait I used? According to my buddy, it was a slow day. It was a fine day for me. Sometimes it seems like the big ones know what size is legal, and let the little ones mess with us. :x
Our arms got tired too. We fished about five hours, until a storm ran us off. Have you used live mullet before? I guess catching a few is better than not catching any. I like Reds, but I don't like cleaning them. Trout are so much easier, especially when it's 100+ degrees.
Maybe we can meet up,sometime.
