Thank you so much! It was nice meeting everyone and the food was great. I wish I could have stayed longer. But the time I was there I felt welcome.

I look forward to good fishing this year. And I think now my dad will be encouraged to join the forum. :)

WAS SO MUCH FUN

We need to do this more often. I met a lot of people that i have talked to on the fishing

site but had not met . lot of the men i had already met on the water but met their wives

today Kathy , jello_2001 , Brenda , Kay, Sandy , some of the names i have a hard time

remembering Kc wife i talked to a while at the Lunch table but didn't catch her name.

Shadman and his wife a lot of people that signed up didn't get to make it but they sure

missed some really good food and a very great time. I think everyone that did come had

a really great time . The cooking team did a really great job of cooking the fish and fry's.

Dutch as always did an excellent job on making homemade bread and peach cobbler in dutch ovens

so many pies and cakes cookies and enough fish to feed an army everyone took home extra fish

and we still had two big pans of fish left.

was great to have jello-2001 and her father make the fish fry hope to see you and your father

more often on the fishing site and on the water. Shadman and his wife and daughter. eel1

Kc he is always a blast with his stories. Sandie's blessings of the water.

Did finally get to meet up with the mighty cat fisherman Weatherman

becksg , Hackett,

Every thing Sticko said and I’ll add, lota folks missed out on some GREAT GROCERIES and lie swapping. Only negative I can come up with was when I asked if there was another next weekend and was told no. “Drat it all”!

Thanks to all for making me feel welcome!

Was really great to see some friends and put some faces to some names today. Always good to see my good friend Beck and his wife. Good to see my old catfish buddy Dutch after a such a long while and meet his wife. Was good to put a face to some of the names on the site: Shadman and his family, KC and the cooking team, EE1, Craphac, Birdnest, Jello, and of course Sticko and his wife.
Many thanks to the ladies for the cool towels and Gatorade when the heat got the best of me. And a special thanks to my "fall guy" Shadman.
Brenda and I had a lot of fun meeting and talking and I hope we can all do it again in the fall. Maybe even get a bigger turnout.
KC, the fish were done just right. Gonna send you a pm as I left without noticing the donation box. I saw it on the photos when I was getting ready to post them. Was looking forward to meeting Forrest as well and thank him for keeping the site going.
Can only post 3 pics at a time so here are the first 3: Sticko pointing to the one that got away, Dutch wishing he was fishing, and Shadman and family enjoying some fine food.

Katie, Paige, and I had a great time and met some terrific folks today. Anyone who wasn't there sure missed a good time with terrific food and conversation. I didn't get a chance to talk to everyone very long, but sure enjoyed talking with those I did. We'll definitely make the next one, and hopefully see y'all on the water at some point between now and then!
