I'd like a Bream page, growing up, I could always count on the bream, but haven't been able to find any in Lake Houston. Sticko's post on bream in Conroe got me thinking about them.

you know some of those big MAMA"S bound to

come down the san jacinto river from conroe

and should do good in Lake Houston.

Its fun to take the big long crappie
pole a tiny cork a box of meal worms and
just dabble it in the brush tops for
the big bream.
watch the cork just dance around
then slowly disappear in to the deep.
When bream are on the beds, they throw all caution to the wind and defend their territory against all comers. The complete focus on completing the task at hand, and the rambunctious approach to it, is what makes bedding bream so much fun

It is time for the bream to move into the shallows
to spawn .
