finally got them all gone. there are two ways to delete all the way points
and my units would not do it the easy of just deleting all nav data.
so i went this way

go to nav, click on waypoints routes and tracks.
click on options, select multiple and
delete.
scroll down and click on each waypoint you want to remove to highlight it
it will turn blue,
after you have highlighted all of them hit exit , that will move your cursor
to the top of the page to done, click on done confirm yes to delete
all of them will be gone.

Wow....I dint think you were serious bout deleting them all....
I'm passing over & recording, if its not there I'll delete it, if it is still there I still have my waypoint....
I did have to delete several..... I mean several waypoints..... still got a lot of scanning to do....

yes i figured it would be easier to just delete them all at once than to mess
with deleting a lot to only keep a few . Several i looked at were totally gone
some had minor bush in the area. This time if the piles are not holding fish
i will delete them right away. I had several that quit holding fish i never removed
also a lot of the places i fished i found before they came out with gps and them
i can still find with out a depth finder.
Plus i am finding many new holes that are holding fish. All exciting new game for me.

Yes sir, like a new lake out there....
I've watched about 3hrs of recorded scanning, there's nowhere near the stumps and laydowns that were in the bayou & river as it use to be but that makes it easier to get on those crappie.....
I haven't been in the main lake yet but I'm sure it's changed a bunch too....
Can't wait to get back on Conroe to check it out, hopefully all those productive piles that I found aren't washed away over yonder.....
