Went out for 1/2 day yesterday. Caught some early on spinnerbait over near E/W cut on some cypress trees, and not a bite after 10am it seemed. Bright, no clouds usually does that to me, and I ran all the way to Newport and fished lots of docks, nothing. Was trying to pinpoint some bulkheads with some shad action and had some solid strikes on ylw spinnerbait, but no fish to speak of.

High pressure shut em down pretty good Sunday. They bit well Saturday after the rain.
