Time to start checking your spawning areas. In the Cove we have fat fish on the banks up in the flooded bean bushes.

They were biting good yesterday. The trusty Huminbird S.I. Sees everything. I was throwing a white spinner up on the bank and dragging it in.

After I beat up some whites in the creek today I sore mouthed some on a white spinnerbait in about 1-2ft of water.

I have the same units on my boat that came with it 4 years ago. Only use it for GPS. guess I fished two deep today. Not sure how many folks are usng electronics on LH to find fish except Crappie guys sitting in the middle of the channel. LOL..... Sorry Killa!! All kidding aside, the units out there are helpful and can help u identify irregularities, structure that most don't know even exist. That being said, I doubt there are very many "holes" that aren't known.

I have never used electronics before except for depth. Just have to know bass tactics for that time of year.

setting shallow water highlights will help you find all humps and ridges
points all in fast order. Also show any fish holding to them.

Anyone else see that 7.5 weighed in by the junior angler at BJs, wife showed me a pic. I saw lots of father/son duos yesterday out scouting, there is a HS tourney the 10th. I just love the attitudes of some real well known bass anglers on this lake when you see them. I was talking it up with another boat about to lead them up the E fork to catch some whites and one of the high dollar rig guys pulls up and starts talking to a father son duo, they wave, this guy kept his back to me. Most of the AQ guys are asholes like this, and an angler I spoke to yesterday agreed with me on that. Like a high school click it seems.

Man,

I hope I am not thought to be in that click. I do consider myself an A Hole though but I do wave every now and again and even smile. ON a lighter note, I did captain a kid from Magnolia last year on LH during their tourney. My kiddo came in 12th out of over 100 with only 3 fish. Put him on a couple decent ones.
