I put in at Ponderosa, water was chocolate milk color. I went up river to the first road bridge, found a downed pine tree with motor. I used white spinner with gold blades, also black worm with blue fleck. No bites up there. Then worked down to 1960, power line poles and lost to the railway before rain got to bad. No bites up there, also tried red and black lip less crank and spinners. Just could not dial it in for the bass. Still had fun and learned the lake a little.

This rain and muddy water has not helped . the bass are trying to bed . If it were me i would go
to bigger baits they can shadow in the murky water salamanders brush hogs black /blue jigs.
brown/ orange craw colors. slow way down . red traps crawled ,slower than the worms you fish.
may do the trick. check secondary points going into spawning coves any small sandy knolls
they can bed on. any bedding baits should be good . I like the salamanders black/truse or the water
mellon black with the tail dipped in chartreuse dye. Bass hate them.
with good moss green Polaroids even in this muddy water the fish will flash where they
are bedding . Just have to be patient watch and let the fish tell you.

Mr. Sticko speaking the "gospel". Very good info from a seasoned LH Vet.
