Hit up IHOP with the family early and got thrown out of the house by the misses so I wouldn't be in her way as she started preparing for the holiday. Launched boat at 11am in the chilly weather. Wind blowing out of North 10-15mph water temps 67 degrees. Hit a couple spots in bayou and couldn't get bit after throwing the kitchen sink at them. Moved on to the East Fork and targeted drop offs with wood and picked up a few on crankbaits in 6-8ft of water. There is so much wood in the East Fork and everything looks good. Had to move around to find them. Biggest fish 2lbs. caught more than a handful of 12-13"ers. Came back to the bayou and stuck one between 3.5 and 4lbs on a crankbait in 8ft of water at the mouth of a creek. Picked up a 12"er on a shallow flat and then a small keeper before calling it a day. Cant find them really schooling anywhere but hopefully with the cooler weather for the next week or so they might start acting right. Nice day on the water not many others out there. Lake level is down pretty good so be careful out there. Was off water at 3pm. Prolly be back out there Thanksgiving for a few hours.
