Do you think any of the spawn will make it this year, or will the extremely muddy water/sudden flood ruin the whole thing. Also, where would the bass spawn on the south end of the lake? they have to spawn down there somewhere, I cant imagine they all migrate cross lake to the north end.

Nature can usually hold it's own & I'd think there are spawning grounds all round tha lake for all species....

I caught a prespawn female last time I went out 2 weeks ago, so pretty sure they are still spawning. Plus they spawn in the back of creeks and coves, those haven't all be affected much by heavy currents, just some extra depth.

There are tons of places for the fish to spawn on the south end of the lake.

humps , ridges , sand bars , points, many creeks on the south end .

hill tops. Grasses , pads, if green not brown. under boat docks . Hundreds

of miles of shallow shore line. In adverse conditions as we have the fish will

spawn deeper as deep as 10 feet if need be.

I knew fish could spawn deeper I just thought given the sunlight penetration they would be limited to only a few feet on LH. I also thought they did not like silt/soft bottoms, so that would really limit their available spawning grounds on LH.
