Me posting successful trip to Sheldon was a mistake. Saw the weather warm and was thinking good things. Then caught 2 small fish in 2 days onToledo, and blanked on another trip to Sheldon.

Would have thought that TB would have produced. But then again, every week there is a 300 plus boat tournament there and the big Sam. They are beating those two lakes to death. I remember when Livingston was the big fish and numbers lake and they killed that one.

Toledo Bend and Rayburn are huge lakes. I fished Saturday in TTT Tournament with 350 boats. Went plenty of places and didn't see another boat. They were all probably in Veech!

I would Doubt they where in Veech, No grass in there anymore, although IDK I didnt look. I heard it was pretty hot up in the canyons. I was on Toledo and I was wanting to fish Indian mounds. unfortunately if you wanted in there, or 6 mile, or Hausen, you had to take a number. So I just ran up North knowing my chances would dimish but my sanity could continue. Strange the North end of Toledo is much cooler water temp than the Southern this year, seems backwards to normal am I wrong?

Man, I don't know where everyone was. Just sayin that a lot of folks fish common holes. We weighed in 15lbs ended up in 72 place. No check needed another 2lbs which I lost at the boat  . None of our fish were in grass and two were over 4lbs. Grass is overrated in my opinion. That lake is a million lakes in one. We fished in LH type water.

Let me clarify, it was LH type water when it hasn't rained in a month. It was stained not opaque!
