Got off work a little early and hit bayou about 4:30pm and got ran off at 7:30pm from the pending rain. I was able to come up with 3 bass 8, 15, and 17. My spinnerbait let me down this time but my plastic worms did not.

Glad you were able to find them.

i got off early, but was scared to get out on the water. I kept watching the radar and couldn't bring myself to getting out there. I don't mind a little rain, but l lightning scares me...
I kept telling my daughter the fish are gonna be biting. I had the boat in the driveway loaded and ready.

Many years ago, i had a buddy on the water with some other friends...half hour before the storm, the rain hadn't reached them yet. They saw the clouds and were on there way back in when he was hit by lightning while inside the boat. he was knocked out of the boat and unconscious. His friends pulled him in and the ambulance was waiting at the launch upon there return. He lived through the experience, but forever changed.

This has scared me to be outside on the front side of the storm... i also like to wear my life jacket and attach kill switch when driving the boat. Possibilities are endless when you are on the water.
