If it's clear, white/chartreuse.
If it's stained or muddy, Colorado blades with dark blue or black skirt. Maybe a small trailer.

I caught a limit of bass in weather like this on an H&H double willow leaf blade spinner bait with black and yellow skirt. Me and my buddy threw everything but the kitchen sink and I figured what the heck. Started catching good bass right away. My buddy felt insulted to use an H&H, but after my third bass he relented. Won the tourney at Toledo Bend in January, two years ago. Had to keep thawing out our reels and guides. :)

live water dogs work great on sheldon this time of the year
some mighty big bass caught on sheldon in feb each year.
