I follow the Lake Somerville run fairly closely and many males have already migrated up the major tributary to the lake. I am not as familiar with Lake Houston, but I would think that some males have migrated upstream by now. There have also been some recent reports of catching a lot of whites on the Trinity river many miles upstream of Lake Livingston. I am hoping this recent rain may help them move a bit more and once the creeks clear up there should be some whites to catch. I am tentatively planning to try my luck next week sometime after the water levels drop back down on Caney/Peach.
