Went to the south end this morning, on the water at 8:00. Fished for crappie on a couple of big brush piles until about 1:00 with no bites. Decided to troll for whites down there. KC showed me a hump I didn't know about and started trolling he11-pets about 1:30. Got my first keeper about 1:45. I stayed on that hump the rest of the day and finished with 14 whites and one cat. Caught at least 5 baby whites for each keeper. Thanks KC. Pics tomorrow when I clean them. Left at 4:00... startin' to get hot out there.

Nice mess of fish there, Dutch. That one on the end looks familiar. Was on the south side myself that morning....must have been on opposite sides of the lake.

I was using he11-pets. That's a Hellbender lure with the hooks off and a Luhr-Jensen Pet spoon tied onto it about 3 feet behind.

Yes sir, that is what I use when trolling for whites at lake livingston. I have always caught more fish with the white tail spoon than on a the yellow, also had luck using a roadrunner behind the binnder.

very nicely done Dutch .

the jet divers will stay down much better than the

hell bender . The pet spoon is the best to troll behind it.

Went this morning for a few hours. Only got one keeper. Also not as many fingerling bass this time. I guess I just never found them.

Went out early this morning ,headed south pass the 1960 bridge .was going to try for some white bass but thought I would try my luck on the crappie. First drop and bam, fish on.Ten minutes later another keeper, I was so excited to finaly put some keeper crappie in the box.well here comes the wind out of the south east blowing the boat around so much that I couldnt hold my boat in place where I needed to be, so I headed back to the boat ramp with 15 nice keepers. I was fishing over brush in 11 feet of water about 9 foot deep. Color of jig was black chart .Most likely would have limited out today if not for the wind. Only fished a few hours.
