Did some early jugging and drifting that produced 13 keepers. Very little wind and water not in bad shape despite the recent rains. Water temp started at 80 and rose to 83. HPD boat had the mayor and others on board and came close enough for me to recognize him. Another pontoon boat cruising alongside them with photogs taking pics. They were watching the cleanup going on....barges were across the lake from Scotts point.

Good Job WM. I got out on the water late yesterday morning with kids, they were the reason for the late start. We finished off a hot and slow day with two little kitties.

Oh well better luck next time.

Coolcat, I actually left them biting yesterday due to the heat. Seems the bite didn't pick up until around 10am. High water from the rain may have them dispersed a bit.

Sticko, I fished no deeper than 13 FOW and really did not pay that much attention to the electronics. I would assume it would be a little deeper if there. But then the rains did have the surface cooled.
