I was near the railroad tracks and it was pretty bad out there. The water was very muddy and debris everywhere. It was looking like a storm had been there. I caught two fish, threw them back, and was home by 11 am. Saw a few boats but not many. We will try again next time.

We were out on Sunday as well. Fished mainly South of the tracks. lots of wind and waves, but no catfish. I suspect that they may be up a little shallow early in the AM feeding on shad and then not biting later on with a full belly. We were out in the afternoon. Pretty day, but dang that wind made for a bumpy ride. May hit the bayou on Sunday if I can sneak away for a few...
