Fished today from 7 to 10...again with the pelicans. Came in with 13 keepers. Only a handful of throwbacks today. Water temp up 3 degrees from yesterday to 72. Less boat traffic than yesterday. Water in good shape. Water level about the same as yesterday.

You are a machine, your success and consistency, speaks for itself. Have you ever latched on to a Flathead, or are they few and far between, or are they fished completely different than blue and channels? Or none of the above? I would like to land a Flathead one day.

Shane, I have caught several small non-keeper flatheads in LH over the years but only 1 keeper. That was August of 2016. Caught on a chicken heart. (Is there any other bait?) Weighed 7 pounds and was delicious. Here is the photo.
