On the water before sunrise and could see nothing. The fog was thick and visibility was zero. For safety sake, I hung out along the bank and fished for 30 minutes till the fog was burnt off. I caught nothing while waiting. Headed out to a new spot, fished there for 3 hours and caught nothing. Made the executive decision to head to a spot where I have caught fish in the past, and once again caught nothing. The whole day, caught no keepers. Water was smooth, debris is moving on. water temp was 81 and clarity seems to be getting better. looking forward to my next trip. Good day.

It happens Shane. A real fisherman is gonna get skunked every now and then.
Next time you find yourself in a situation like that try this....
Hang some poles over the side and let the bait go all the way to the bottom then reel in about 2 feet. Then drift and watch the poles for bites. Should work well for between 10 and 16 FOW. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, I will try that next time. It does seem like, catchin is a little more productive when the water is choppy and not smooth.
