After almost a full day of salvaging boats and jet skis, I decided to fish rather than fight the traffic home. Started fishing around 530 this afternoon and fished til sundown. They were biting. Only had 1 throwback to 11 keepers. Hooked something that eventually broke my line after a brief fight. Water temp around 80 with very muddy water. Lake was dead calm at sunset.

Folks need to be extremely careful on the lake....especially north of 1960. We ran aground several times today while moving dead slow due to numerous sandbars that are in places that were 6 to 10 feet deep 2 weeks ago. Worst spots were north of 1960 on the west side of the lake, navigating the left turn to head towards W. Lake Houston Bridge and the area west of W. Lake Houston bridge west of the power lines. Be very careful in that area.

I will post some pics I took of damage in the general area.

Nice job once again.Sorry about the house but glad everyone is alright.I might be seeing you more on the lake now chasing those cats around as the flounder fishing in my area might be wiped out for this year.
