Figured I better fish today as tomorrow and Friday might be windy due to Delta. Did some drifting this morning in the light NE breeze and did well coming in with 17. Helix died on me so I dont know how deep I was or water temp. Water in decent shape. Quite a few boats out this morning.

It was a lot of fun fighting that thing it spooked my wife
when that big head busted to top of the water she was
standing at the edge of the boat going to net the fish
i told her that little crappie net was not going to do any
good on this fish when it broke the water she jumped straight
back. I reached down and grabbed the fish by the jaw and had
a good time trying to lift it into the boat. She said she was not
going to touch the ugly thing. I put it back in the lake for you
to catch,
