Haven't seen much on here in a while. I hope others are catching fish because I have not been.

Bought a kayak and tried my luck with that and caught my first couple of bullheads out of the lake. Lot of time for 2 fish though.

Also hooked two huge snapping turtles. A little precarious from a kayak but all fingers and toes are accounted for.

I've been posting vids of me slamming the crappie and even telling folks how..... but there's even zero interest in that guess it's too hot for these fair weather wanna be fishn fellas.....

Too hot for the most part, I had 0 interest in going this last weekend with it being so hot and NO wind at all. Trying to decide if I am going to buy Dunham pass again this year since KW ramp still closed since Harvey it was worth the 200 last year though no doubt about it.

Heal up Sticko. I don't mind so much not being able to fish this time of year. I do mind the reason I can't fish. I'm watching a ball game with my foot/leg elevated and still in a cast. There's a few of us lately on this forum dealing with health issues keeping us off the water. Hope we all get healthy and stay that way. May be some indication of the average age of this group.

Sticko, sorry to hear you've had some issues but good to know they kept you going. Please do stay out of the heat. Them thar crappie will be there in cooler weather.
Same with rkaechler….heal up and the cats will be there waiting when you get back on the water.
The only thing this heat is good for is growing okra and watermelons.
