Did not get the first hook in the water until around 8am but had a great 4 hours of fishing til noon. Had every intention of drifting but lake was calm like glass. Found some pelicans feeding and fished with them. Had no throwbacks today and left them biting. Totaled over 100 pounds of fish today as the big blues were biting under the pelicans. Photo with my shoe in it is after the first 2 hours. Other photo with the smaller ones was when I left at noon. Only kept 3 of the smaller fish for dinner tonite...all others let go for someone else to catch. Was anchored in 10 FOW. Water temp 55 to 57. Biggest fish went 26.19 lbs. Did not weigh them all but also had a 20.5, 17.1 and a 15.8. Have not done any serous fishing since early December and was good to get back on them. Darn shame tomorrow looks so wet otherwise I would be chasing pelicans again.

Awesome day WM!! Doesn't come very often when the biggun's are all biting hot and heavy like that, glad you could take advantage of it.
