Got out there about 6am and stayed till almost noon. Water temp at 68, level has to be down 3 feet. Water clarity didn't seem too bad, but I am horrible about judging the clarity. Water was smooth headed out but got choppy as the day went on. I saw a handful of boats and no skiers. No skiers is great by itself, but I was able to enjoy a day when they were biting. I took home 17 fish, and threw back a bunch. They were biting like crazy, I don't know if it was the over cast or the temperature, but it was nice to catch some fish. Bye Bye summer and hello fall. They do seem to bite better in the fall and winter down here. Anyway, I had fun and thanks for reading my post. See you next time. Oh, I almost forgot, Chicken Hearts.

Nice job shane!!! Congrats on the fish, and agree, any day without skiers is already a good day!
