yes sir that man has it going on . I would like to see him show people a little
more about how to locate the piles . from throwing the markers out once
he sees the piles on the side images and how he gets back over the piles
with the troll motor. Because most of the time when you pitch out the back
of the boat when moving your marker is not going to land close enough to
the brush to be productive..
If he would cover his coordinates and show the piles as to how he throws the
buoy and circles to get right on the pile .
He has all the stuff to make a great instructional video.

I recorded some footage that i deleted because I got so frustrated trying to keep footage from two cameras in time.
I'll be getting another camera soon & will make that vid then.
I have also got some footage talkn about how to use your fishfinders map to find productive waters.... gotta get it put together...
I'ma workn on it... it's amazing how much time it takes to put a vid together... that's one that people will watch...

Thanks Sticko....Iam currently working shutdowns, but I bought the Garmin 7sv.....

I fished for many years without having the luxury of side and down scan, boy have I been missing out LOL. It does have gps which

should be nice for marking my fishing spots... but does not have lake maps..

on the market. I dont want to leave out COST$$$$$$ LOL

Good luck on your Selection...

I don't like short cuts nor ole technology other brands turned away..... this may be a different model but same tech in all of'em.....
No Garmins for me.....
I don't have a Garmin to have experience with it to give my personal opinion this is just something a guy on another forum talked to me about....

That's why the Lowrance total scan transducer is the size of a footlong hotdog....and not on my price & compare list. The Garmin isnt toooo much better, but it would fit inside the nook I have to work with.

Wonder if HB made a similar presentation to that... they have side and down imaging but the transducer is no bigger than a standard one. SK, you've seen my transducer, that's the downscan only version and its the same size as your HB transducer that does both.

Would a Garmin be so bad if I was buying it specifically for side scanning while cruising and already have a different down imaging unit to put on my TM?

Thing is any SI is better than no SI....
Get what fits & won't kill the pocket book.....
