I will be on luce bayou crappie hunting again tuesday and Wednesday. Feel free to ask for autograph haha. But I'm posting to get a better Idea of east fork. I know luce way better which is not vast. But how far up the east fork do I go? Just the start or do I need to head so far up my nose bleeds? Last time I went it was no bait fish no birds notta.

The east fork is funny sometimes the fish are just at the mouth of luces . other times

they stack up in front of BJS marina in the river if not there try the highlines or the

big bend past or the high bluff banks or the long pole hole. you never know where they will hold

the next stop might be the honey hole go all the way up till you see two houses up on a hill

right at the beginning of a sharp bend . That is as far as most go and it can be good fishing all the way.

you will see caney going off to the left just past the high bluff banks it also holds crappie and is where most

people go to chase white bass. To answer your question they be where you find them . But this time of the year

you should not have to go far from the mouth of the bayou to find a good mess of crappie. up the East fork.

I saw a lot of crappie being caught farther north today.

several good fish to 14 1/2 inches. they wanted something with red in it.

black red truse , red/truse and black/truse were putting fish in the boat today.

the bite was very lite at times.

Sticko you mentioned places in the first post here. I know where BJs and start of luce bayou but when u say two houses in a hill up north. Do you mean luce or east fork. I know the mexican gully area of luces which is by two house on a bend there a lot of great brush there. Is that it. Where is caney? What is the long pole hole. Im sure in time I will find amd know these places. I have been in houston only three years and just still too new. Thanks
