Yea we struggled on day one with 6plus pounds, day two we had 9.83 pounds got a lot better, they may still call us for the championship at the end of September which will be held on the same river. Now we know a lot more than we did starting out so should have a shot. Yes SK we fished by Roper and ROPER the first day we were there they are very good people, every time we went which has been around ten different times They are at most of the tourney's as they fish the points, we seen them and all the others. Ronnie Caps and Coleman were in it as well. We have never fished the same body of water yet but when we do it will be a lot better. No Sticko that was not our Lamar there. But that side scan along with Randy's live scope came in very handy. Even the big boys fall now and then. We have beat them all in one tourney or another. So much fun I love it and meet a lot of good people doing it, just wish I could follow the trail for one full year but do not have that kind of money.

yes we pre fished for two days and found good fish but how it always happens they were not there when it counted so we had to adjust on the second day. I DO LOVE IT. Was very hot we fished four days in 100 plus heat very tough. Lots of water and electro light drinks

Big time Sticko and to get sponsors you have to know big people in big places are get support from alot of small people in a lot of small places so you'll get noticed by the big people.....

And part of why I'm doing the YouTube deal....

Have grown the channel to almost 10k subscribers but it's slow in coming......

Being from so close to the coast and little interest in crappie fishn in this area makes it super tough and then you have a lot of folks that want only watch without feeling the need to support the small guy.......

Seems folks get real enjoyment from watchn clowning and push to show the clowns support...... If you get what I mean......

Butz the time is coming where me and possibly ole LBG will be able to get out there with y'all......

sometimes you can get small businesses to sponsor you
I had Houston sporting Goods and Calaway Boat works
for sponsors . They paid travel money and entry fees
and did boat and motor upkeep. They furnished nice
jackets and caps with their logos on them and i had
to make the boat shows and help them represent
their boats .
But that is another avenue just talk to some of the
businesses in the fishing industry. Its a tax write off
for them and they get the advertisement win some
nationals and pick up some major sponsors.

Yes Sk I will post next time and let people know if they call us up, Just feel like I am begging. Pride thing I guess, which in my latter years I have had to eat that pride a few times, And Sticko we do have a letter drawn up with all the info on it about the tourneys we attended and how we faired in them. Thanks for the support guys may God bless all of you.

I would not think that as being a prideful thing to post up how you
fared in the tournaments . I think it would be an exciting read for
our viewers . It would be nice for you to give a write up about the struggles
you went through to place where you did. Like you were on good fish
during practice and the fish moved on you . How did you combat this change.
what may have caused the fish to move.
was it a change in water conditions or weather change. Time of day.
it might excite other readers on here to get out and try their hand at
the tournaments. When they see that someone they know are placing
up in the standings and not just the pros winning all the time. With the
electronics we have now anyone can win. Just study the habits of the
fish you want to catch.
Thanks for your post Butz.
