Stop wine-ing...
Fished Casitas once... January. Froze my nards off...
Of the 25 largest bass of all time, large mouths, California has about 18 of them.
The smaller the lake, the bigger the bass; trout fed ...
Good luck...

Oh, Texas has.... Zero! Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot????

Richard Perry caught the world record bass in '32 and it stood until 2009. Although the Japs bass was one ounce heavier, it is considered a tie because a new record has to be at least 2 ounces heavier to become a new record. That's why they are listed as 1a & 1b.
California has 20 of the top 25, upon further review.
Lake Montgomery, GA, ever heard of it? That's where George caught his bass. He and his mom had it for dinner, with onions, for two nights. Depression times...
Oh, they filled in Lake Montgomery so it no longer exists...

I knew that it was caught in Georgia. I have never heard of Lake Montgomery. Guess I might have if they didn't fill it in. That's a pity.
