1 lb. dry camella red kidney beans
7 cups of water
1 chopped white onion
1 to 1 1/2 lb. deer sausage or wild hog sausage or any store brand of your choice
1 pack of miccormick orginal chili mix
1 1/2 teaspoons of worcestershire sauce
4 teaspoons hienz ketchup
salt and pepper to taste
pinch of tony's seasoning
3 teaspoons of bacon fat

8 cups of cooked rice
you can add to your liking celery, bell pepper, tomato or any of your favorite items also.

Soak beans in water overnight, put beans in crock pot with water on low and let them cook for 9 hours and then add all the listed items and let cook for 3 more hours and it will be good to go over your rice.
Some cornbread on the side or added to the bowl will make it even better.

Then when they cool off put them in the fridge to marinate and they will be much better the next day.

No it will not taste like chili beans as no one will no the chili mix was in it except you.

Yes sir,

That would be rice cooked seperate and the onion should be chopped up also before adding to the pot.

SK,

Yes the camella red beans are the best on the store shelf.

Also did not say it but another thing you can do before you add the other items to the beans.

Take out 1/2 or 3/4 cup of the beans and smash them up with a fork and it will help flavor the juice.
