Last weekend found the Baby backs on sale, so had to smoke some ribs. I used my Pit boss vertical pellet smoker with Pecan pellets. Cooked the ribs on 225 for three hours, then rapped in foil for two hours. Normally I like to finish them off spicy, but decided to try a glaze this time. So the last hour I added a Jack Daniels Pineapple glaze to finish them off. They were very sweet, but very good. Thought I would share the glaze recipe, in case anyone wants to try it. Very easy and should work no matter how you cook your ribs.

2oz Jack Daniels
2oz of pineapple juice

Heat in a sauce pan until halved. so about 2oz left.

Add
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 pineapple preserves

Mix well

Take a brush and coat your ribs, leave on grill till glaze sets.

I have been eating on those ribs all week. Something about that Pineapple and pork.
