Sticko,

We wear the same type on choppers for work. Water inflates it, pull cord for manual, or blow tube for manual. As long as Ive got a high quality vest type Ive never really had a problem wearing one so never bothered with an inflater type for personal use.

yes as long as you wear the life vest the whole time your in the boat the one you have will work good,
but if you only wear your vest when running that is not good . you can slip and fall hitting your head
on the side of the boat at anytime. i got the inflatable because i wear it all the time i am in the boat it is so
lite you forget you have it on. and please hook up the kill switch on the engine to it when running the
engine.

I pull my switch from time to time to make sure it is working.

you never know when you will hit that stump they will jerk the steering
wheel out of your hand causing you to be thrown out of the boat.
it will circle around and run over you.

why would anyone not hook it up but yet i have seen people run without
it hooked up. Putting you and your passengers in danger.
