You need a deep cycle battery . Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM)

are the best. Gel cells have not held up for me if on a 15 hour run day in

and day out. Trojans are the best but very expensive. walmart has some okay

cheap batteries for the once in a while fishermen. Get one with the most amp hours

you can find.

do not buy any battery from Academy they are no good.

The best battery deal i got was advanced auto.

Ther is a couon code for $40off $100 purchase, turns out their marine battery s about $99. Buy some grease abd yout over 100 and can claim the $40 off.

You have to order on the web then pickup at the store for it to work. Battery has held up well but im not a frequent fisher.
