Wheel bearings are under appreciated and not real important till you lose a wheel going down the high way. Then they become real important. Speaking from experience. I lost the right wheel on a single axle trailer and now mine are checked before every trip.

That's a good reminder, I need to pull the hubs off mine and give the bearings a good greasing. I don't trust Bearing Buddy's that much LOL!

Thats what got me to post this i was taking my hubs down to repack the bearings.

i have had the buddy bearings to come out sometimes they don't have a good fit and once the hubs get warm on the highway the buddy bearings can come out and loose all the grease.
so i don't use them.

I guess some people have luck with them.
i see a lot on but i had rather take mine down and pack them every two years.

The current rig came with oil bathed bearings. I'd never used them before, but I'm sold on them now. My only complaint is there is no drain plug that can be rotated to the down position.
