For those of you with boat insurance....who do you use and what do you pay per year? State Farm is trying to pull a fast one on me so I am shopping for new insurance. They initially told me ~ 900 per year and I payed it then they turned around and sent me a bill for “Remainder Due” of another ~900. Needless to say somebody is bout to get a cussing and lose all the insurance business they have with me.

Give Bob a call and this is a note from him from another web site G/L with state farm.

Hi Guys and Ladies. First off, I just want to say "hi" and that I have the same problem that you do. I love to fish. I have been in the marine insurance business for over 15 years, and I represent over 20 insurance companies. I can write in over 40 states. We have developed special programs designed by fishermen for fishermen. I will be able to show you not only a way to save money, but also how to get the best coverages possible. I am here to help all of you understand what you have now and what I can do for you. I am willing to answer any questions you may have. I have noticed there may be a few of you who think you were not treated properly when you had a claim. If your policy was written correctly, there should be no issues in the event of a claim. Please give me a call and I will be happy to discuss your policy with you.

What is really aggravating is my old agent and secretary wrote up the policy. They provided great service. Ive stuck with them over several moves just becuase of the awesome servcie and reasonable rates. Unfourtunatley they retired on January 1st and I got moved to the Kingwood agent......and it just so happened right after that I got this crap!
