we are not getting many fishing reports. Even with all this
rain and the lake staying messed up . I know you Texas boys are
out there catching fish. So if we are going to keep this fishing
site open we need to get people talking on here. Are you afraid
someone might fish your hole . They fish mine all the time it is
all good. The Lord gave us plenty of fish.

You are so right, Mr. Sticko.

All I know is fishing right now is not what it once was. This fish have locked-jaws. The lake is full of freash water from all of the runoffs that has enter into the lake, The fish just might have won this time. The last time i can remember when it was this bad was during the drought. Even then the fishing was not that great, but you were able to still catch a few here and there. This year is not going to be as easy as some of the passed years. When you were able too pull up and drop your faviote jig down and felt that thump on the end of the line. Maybe when the temp is right, the water clears up a little more and the shad or bait fish moves into the shallow waters it just might turn the fishing around somewhat. Then and only then, we might here or see more fishing reports from the fisher people. Until then, I will be out there grinding away at what we called fishing from the banks of Lake Houston. CRAPPIE TOWN USA BABY! CRAPPIE TOWN USA! LOL! Just thought I thow that in. 8) 8)

thanks for the reports. Yes the water has turned to chocolate but the fish are still
biting good i see where there have been some good stringers coming in at the
ponderosa ramp. even with the current and off color water. Ski cove and the
cove at indian shore is really putting out good fish this time of the year.
both creeks just south of the railroad bridge should be holding a good
amount of crappie.
