It was a foggy misty morning as i circled the big rig around in the ponderosa .

slid the big skeeter off into the murky waters of the bayou. The roar of the big

evinrude broke the Erie quietness of the morning as i puttered down the bayou.

steam slowly rising off the shimmering water. The flutter of a screech owl as he went

by. The pinkish glow of the early morning sun peeking over the tall pine trees lining

the banks of the water. I roared to a stop by an old cypress tree that i knew always

was good for one or two nice crappie this time of the morning. Dropped the jig slowly

into the water pumped the jig teasingly a couple times felt the tale tale thump of a

good fish . i jerked back and the fish took off to the left through the cypress stumps.

i hadn't made a good hook set so did a double set the fish darted the other way,

wow just how big was this fish. about that time it started circling . I was pulling back

hard as the big mouth of a 12 ounce miller lite beer can busted through the surface

my jig had stuck in the ring of the pull tab, as the jig slid around the ring the water would

make it go off sideways. Hope you enjoyed reading this as much as i did catching it. LOL.
