Not sure if you are ever out in Spring/Woodlands area, but I see a lot of Yak's in Lake Woodlands. Never been myself thought so not sure how good it is.

I recently bought a new kayak and put in at Ponderosa a few weeks ago. It was a nice trip and I caught a few fish. Spoke with and shared fishing tips with a few other fisherman that day. There were a few other kayakers that day which was on a Tuesday. I got there around sun up that morning. I paddled and fished a little past the 2100 bridge. With this summer heat now in full force, it may be a while before I try that again. I fished about 3 1/2 hours that morning and was exhausted by the time I made it back.
SK, idgets are a big concern when I think about using the kayak. I don't think I would try going on a weekend or holiday.

people do put in there on the north east side they do not have ramp per say

but there is a shallow flat area that you can drive up close to where they

put in kayaks and flat bottom boats .
