The few times I'm been out lately I haven't seen any big pods of shad...
The last report I've heard of BIG pods was from Dutch & that was in the mouth of the east fork, that was prolly a month ago so they may have moved by now bit may be worth a look...
I just haven't seen that many shad lately & have been wondering if they were ever gonna make a showing like they have past years up north.. :|

Olddawg if the shad are spawning along the bulk head early in the morning

then you need to cast toward the bulk heads to catch them.

the shad will leave the bulkhead once the sun gets high and the catfish will follow them

so is best to be there early as or just before the sun rises to get the most from

that time of fishing . you can limit out on catfish quickly when this happens.
