Got to the lake a little after 9 am and decided to try a couple jigs

I had a black/chart jig that Dutch had hand tied

I also had a silver Jig that silent killa had hand tied.

caught somewhere around 45 crappie today quit counting

at 35 finished the day with a limit of 25 keepers nothing big

the biggest i had was almost 13 inches but most i kept were

11 to 12 inches. the fish were caught 7-1/2 to 8 feet down

fishing along channel drops.

both jigs caught about equal amounts of crappie ,

they both are very will build and nicely hand tied

the crappie just loved them.

Nice trip you had there Sticko. Congrats.
I was out myself yesterday morning but the wind was not friendly on my end of the lake so I did not fish very long at all. Did catch 2 nice cats that I kept so we did not have to eat leftovers last night.

I also talked to a few fishermen on the lake

that read our site but are not members or

post on the site . I think i may have helped

them catch a few more fish that day.

as they started doing what i was doing to

catch them.
