In the beginning a few years back when i first came to

this this fishing site I had instructed silent Killa

on the art of jig fishing for crappie and how to find

structure that hold crappie well

Yesterday i had asked Sk if he would go fishing with me

and help me sit up the new Humminbird side imaging depth

finder i had purchased. He did go and did an excellent job of

setting up my fish finder for me and teaching me how to find

things with it and all it will do. Not only that but he gave me a

lesson in the art of catching crappie as he gave me the big

"A" whooping on catching them. But i still like the man even

after him doing that. I really enjoyed our time on the water

yesterday morning we tried fishing the main lake but the

wind gusts were just making it difficult for boat control to

stay in position on the piles , so we went to the east fork

where it was calm for most of the day. even saw a couple

deer KC should have went crappie fishing . The fish were

Holding very tight to structure and the bottom of the lake

most times when we got a hit you had to fight the fish out

of the bushes or you would stick fish and limb at the same

time . we finished the day with 13 keeper crappie but only

Kept 11 sh threw back a very nice one that had a sore

and i threw one back that was only 10-1/2 inches here

is a pic of the ones we kept pic not to clear.

How late did you guys stay out? Remember... when the bite is tough, use smaller lures.

Dutch i am not real sure I think around 3:30 we quit fishing

i wanted to get home before dark . I thought it got dark about

a little after 5 pm . The fish really turned on right after sk talked

to you the last time . Matter of fact i was pulling in a nice one when

he was talking to you. The biggest we had was 14 inches

Sounds like you two had a great time. That's what having fishing buddies is all about. :)

Really wanted to go but had a wedding to attend. I could have gotten autographs from both Mr. Sticko and SK at the same time? Talk about missed opportunities........

P.S. This student needs a teacher! I am potty trained and very coachable. LOL

Nice catch of fish, Sitcko, SK. If there are fish to be found and caught, you two are the ones who can do it.
