yes we had a very wonderful day , was a wonderful day out on the water

even if the fish didn't want to bite.

Never thought Dutch to be one that would front end a man would you.

you all just don't Know the man like i do if you do get where you

might be able reach a limb by mistake he didn't know was down there

close he will drop down there quickly and hang up and start shaking

the limbs down there till he runs all the crappie out of the county.

aw dern sticko didn't catch a fish in there. Hehehehaha.

no we really do have a good time on the water. even saw what looked like a

bald eagle up in a dead tree had the white head but could not ever see the

white tail. was a very pretty site.

Yes I've noticed what I thought were eagles too & have seen them with bass & what looked like a crappie before.
Sticko since Dutch pot his rails up front you should be able to lean on one side to be right there with him, I know he has 14' rods so if you get a 16 footer that'll get you up there too....lol

yes that was something , i was stretched out on my back when i hit the

water , i did not hit the boat going in but when my head hit the water

it must have stunned me because i could feel me falling deeper in the water

with my hands stretched out to my side . I could see the light on the surface of

the water getting farther and farther away the water temp that day was 61 degrees

but it didn't seem cold at all or even for the rest of the day in wet clothes. also

it seemed very peaceful as i was falling and seemed like i had been falling for a

long time before i decided i needed to swim. I know we were in 20 some feet of water

but don't think i ever hit bottom just seems like i had been down a long time . Guess

Dutch would know better how long i was down. what i have thought about a lot since

that time is i am glad i never breathed while i was down. Also why it took me so long

to decide to swim . most times when you fall into that cold water you swim right away.

all i could think was it must have stunned me good when my head hit the water.

yes i can laugh today but could have been bad especially for someone if they can't

swim , i have seen people in boats that can not swim with out life vest on.

well one good thing came out of this i always wear a life vest now all day long

while on the water. because it only takes seconds to be in real trouble,

Yes, it can happen before you know it. PFD 's are a good idea for everyone like you said.
