We caught a few crappie in Turtle Bayou on Sunday (didn't go Sat). We ended up with 14 keepers but prolly caught two and a half times that. Like Lake Houston alot of small 9 1/2 inchers! The ones we caught were in about 10' FOW and about 6 ft down. I was using blk\chrt and my buddy was using blue\wht jigs and we were catching at the same rate. Biggest was 14inches but most were 10 to 12 inches. Cant wait to get back for the fall spawn!!!

BTW- the boat ramps are terrible!!

I just opened that pic, didn't notice the water color change while it was lil but thats a drastic change....
Do you know what caused it? Is that bayou affected by tied?

SK the water was pretty clear (for turtle bayou), so I'm not sure about the water change your talking about unless you mean that shadow and I have no idea on what caused that shadow!

No pics, by the time we made it back to Spring from Annahuac I was exhausted and forgot. My badd!!!
Not sure if the bayou is affected by the tide!!

You have to be very careful not to tear your trailer up on that boat ramp if you can still call it a boat ramp. Its like backing your boat over a cliff!!! No exaggeration :!: :!:

There might be some. However the water looked dirty yesterday when I went through Anahuac.
